Description
California Spaghetti Salad is a refreshing chilled pasta salad made with spaghetti, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, bell peppers, olives, mozzarella pearls, Italian dressing, Parmesan cheese, and Salad Supreme seasoning for a flavorful and colorful dish.
Ingredients
1 lb spaghetti
• 1–2 tbsp salt (for boiling the pasta)
• 3 mini cucumbers, sliced or diced
• 1.5 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
• 1 green bell pepper, diced
• 1/2 large red onion, diced
• 2.25 oz can sliced black olives
• 8 oz mozzarella pearls
• 16 oz bottle Italian dressing
• 2–3 tbsp McCormick Salad Supreme seasoning
• 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
1. Cook the spaghetti
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool completely.
2. Prepare the vegetables
Slice the cucumbers, halve the cherry tomatoes, and dice the bell pepper and red onion. Place all veggies in a large mixing bowl.
3. Add pasta and mix-ins
Add the cooled spaghetti to the bowl along with the black olives and mozzarella pearls.
4. Dress the salad
Pour the Italian dressing over the mixture. Sprinkle in the Salad Supreme seasoning and grated Parmesan.
5. Combine and chill
Toss everything together until evenly coated. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to blend.
6. Serve
Give the salad a final toss and serve chilled.
