Description

Cheesy Chili Mac Skillet Recipe is a comforting one-pan dish made with ground beef, elbow macaroni, chili beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, flavorful spices, and melted cheddar cheese, creating a rich, hearty, and satisfying family-friendly meal.

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

2 cups elbow macaroni

1 (15.5 oz) can chili beans, not drained

1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes, not drained

1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce

1 ½ cups beef broth

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 onion, chopped

1 tbsp minced garlic

2 tsp chili powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp paprika

½ tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

½ tsp ground cumin

Instructions

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion. Sprinkle in the salt, pepper, cumin, paprika, chili powder, and onion powder. Cook until the beef is fully browned, then drain off any excess grease.

Stir in the minced garlic. Add the diced tomatoes, chili beans, tomato sauce, beef broth, and elbow macaroni. Mix everything together well.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover the skillet and let it simmer for about 12 minutes, stirring occasionally so the pasta does not stick.

Once the pasta is cooked through, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until it is fully melted and creamy.

Scoop into bowls and serve.
