Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
½ yellow onion, diced
1 bell pepper, diced
2 cups dry elbow pasta, cooked and drained
14.5 oz can petite diced tomatoes, drained
8 oz can tomato sauce
½ cup ketchup
1 tbsp mustard
1 tsp beef bouillon powder
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
Instructions
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add ground beef, diced onion, and bell pepper. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain any excess grease.
Stir in the tomato sauce, drained diced tomatoes, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and beef bouillon powder. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Let simmer for a few minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Add in the cooked pasta and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Stir to coat everything in the sauce.
Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of cheese over the top. Cover the skillet with a lid and let it sit on low heat for a few minutes until the cheese is melted.
Once the cheese is gooey and melted, serve hot and enjoy.
