Description

Christmas Day Chicken Recipe features tender, juicy chicken breasts marinated in sour cream, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and spices, then coated with buttery crushed crackers and baked to golden perfection—a festive, flavorful holiday centerpiece.

Ingredients

16 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (4 ounces each)

2 cups sour cream

1/4 cup lemon juice

4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

2 teaspoons celery salt

2 teaspoons pepper

2 teaspoons paprika

1 teaspoon seasoned salt

1 teaspoon garlic salt

11/2 to 2 cups crushed butter-flavored crackers

1/2 cup canola oil

1/2 cup butter, melted

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, mix sour cream, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, celery salt, pepper, paprika, seasoned salt, and garlic salt until well combined.

Add chicken breasts to the mixture, coating each piece thoroughly. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Roll each chicken breast in crushed butter-flavored crackers, pressing gently to coat.

Place coated chicken in a greased baking dish.

Drizzle canola oil and melted butter evenly over the chicken.

Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes or until chicken is golden brown and cooked through.

Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
