Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 1/2 cups brown sugar

2 large eggs

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp nutmeg

1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts

1 cup raisins

1 cup chopped dates

1 cup candied cherries, halved

1 tsp vanilla extract


Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.

In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture until combined.

Fold in walnuts, raisins, dates, and candied cherries.

Drop dough by heaping tablespoons onto prepared baking sheets.
