Description

Christmas Santa Sweet Butter Cookies Recipe features a rich blend of yellow cake mix, butter, cream cheese, vanilla, and festive sprinkles, creating soft, chewy, melt-in-your-mouth holiday cookies coated in powdered sugar for a classic Christmas treat.

Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

1 large egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup powdered sugar (for rolling)

1/4 cup red and green sprinkles

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter and cream cheese until smooth.

Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until fully combined.

Mix in the cake mix until a thick dough forms.

Fold in red and green sprinkles.

Chill the dough for 30 minutes for easier handling.

Scoop out tablespoon-sized amounts of dough, roll into balls, then roll in powdered sugar.

Place on the prepared baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.

Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set but centers are still soft.

Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
