Description

Creamy Slow Cooker Taco Dip is a rich, comforting appetizer made with seasoned ground beef, cream cheese, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, and salsa, slowly cooked together for a smooth, flavorful dip perfect for parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (450g)

8 oz cream cheese (225g), softened

1 cup sour cream (240g)

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (200g)

1 cup salsa (240g)

2 tbsp taco seasoning

Optional for topping: chopped green onions, fresh cilantro, diced tomatoes, or sliced jalapeños

Instructions

Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned. Break it up with a spoon as it cooks. Drain any excess grease and set aside.

Place the cooked beef, softened cream cheese, sour cream, salsa, shredded cheddar, and taco seasoning into your slow cooker. Stir everything until well combined.

Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for about 2 hours. Stir the dip occasionally as it cooks, until the cheese is fully melted and the dip is hot and creamy.

Once cooked, top with your chosen optional toppings. Serve immediately with tortilla chips, crackers, or vegetable sticks for dipping.
