Description

Creamy Steak Bell Pepper Ranch Penne is a rich, comforting pasta dish made with tender sirloin steak, sautéed bell peppers, penne pasta, and a creamy blend of cheddar, parmesan, milk, and ranch seasoning for bold, savory flavor.

Ingredients

20 oz penne pasta

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp smoked paprika

2 tbsp olive oil

4 tbsp butter

5 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

¾ cup whole milk

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

¾ cup grated parmesan cheese

1 tbsp ranch seasoning mix

½ tsp onion powder

Optional: parsley, crushed red pepper flakes, extra cheddar cheese

Instructions

Cook the penne pasta: Boil penne according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Season and sear the steak bites: Season steak with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak bites for 3–5 minutes until browned and juicy. Remove and set aside.

Cook the bell peppers: In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant. Add sliced bell peppers and cook for 4–5 minutes until tender with slight caramelization.

Make the creamy ranch sauce: Pour in heavy cream and milk, then stir in ranch seasoning and onion powder. Simmer gently for 3–4 minutes.

Add the cheese: Stir in cheddar and parmesan cheese until melted into a smooth, creamy sauce.

Bring it all together: Add cooked penne and steak bites back into the skillet. Toss gently until fully coated in the creamy ranch cheese sauce.

Garnish and serve: Top with parsley, extra cheddar cheese, and crushed red pepper flakes for a little heat if desired. Serve warm and creamy.
