Ingredients
1 ½ pounds beef sirloin or flank steak, sliced into strips
2 bell peppers, sliced
1 medium onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
¾ cup beef broth
¼ cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
½ teaspoon ground ginger
¼ teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons water
Instructions
Slice the beef into thin strips against the grain.
Add the beef, bell peppers, onion, and garlic to the crock pot.
In a bowl, whisk together beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, ginger, and black pepper.
Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and vegetables.
Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours.
In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water until smooth.
Stir the cornstarch slurry into the crock pot during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
Cover and continue cooking until the sauce thickens.
Serve hot over rice or noodles.
