Description

Crock Pot Scalloped Potatoes Recipe featuring thinly sliced russet potatoes, onions, cheddar, Parmesan, and a rich homemade cream sauce. Slowly cooked until tender and perfectly creamy, this comforting side dish is easy, flavorful, and ideal for any meal.


Ingredients

6 medium russet potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced

1 medium onion, thinly sliced

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

3 tablespoons butter

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

2 cups milk

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Cooking spray


Instructions

Spray the inside of the crock pot with cooking spray.

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.

Gradually whisk in milk, stirring constantly until thickened.

Stir in garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and mix in cheddar and Parmesan cheese until melted.

Layer half of the sliced potatoes and onions in the crock pot.

Pour half of the cheese sauce over the potatoes.

Repeat with remaining potatoes, onions, and cheese sauce.

Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or until potatoes are tender.

Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
