Ingredients
• 12 oz pasta shells, cooked and drained
• 2–3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
• 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
• 2 tbsp butter
• 1 full bottle barbecue sauce
Seasonings:
• Salt, to taste
• Black pepper, to taste
• Garlic powder, to taste
• Onion powder, to taste
• Paprika, to taste
Instructions
1. Season the chicken
Place the chicken breasts into the slow cooker and sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
2. Add sauce and cook
Pour the barbecue sauce over the chicken, making sure it’s well coated. Cover and cook on high for 2–3 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
3. Shred and mix
Using two forks, shred the chicken directly in the crockpot and stir it into the sauce.
4. Add pasta
Stir in the cooked pasta shells until evenly combined.
5. Make it creamy
Add butter, heavy cream, cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese. Mix thoroughly until everything is coated.
6. Melt and finish
Cover and let sit for a few minutes until the cheeses are fully melted and the mixture becomes creamy.
7. Serve
Stir once more and serve warm.
