Ingredients
For the Base
1 lb ground beef or thinly sliced steak for a traditional cheesesteak twist
4 cups diced potatoes Yukon Gold recommended
1 medium onion chopped

1 cup beef broth
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt & pepper to taste
Cheese Topping
2 cups shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese

Substitutions

Instructions
- Peel and dice the potatoes into ½-inch chunks.
- Chop the onion.
- Shred cheese if using a block (recommended).
- Cooking Steps
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Layer potatoes, onions, and cooked beef in the crockpot in that order.
- In a bowl, mix beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the sauce mixture evenly over the layered ingredients.
Cover and cook:
- LOW for 6–7 hours
- HIGH for 3–4 hours
- 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle shredded cheese on top. Cover again until melted and bubbly.
