Description

Enjoy the irresistible Grilled Peaches and Ice Cream, a simple summer dessert featuring ripe peaches grilled to caramelized perfection, topped with butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg, served warm with creamy ice cream for a sweet, comforting treat.


Ingredients

2 large ripe peaches

1 tablespoon packed brown sugar

¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

 teaspoon ground nutmeg

pinch salt

1 tablespoon butter, cut into 4 equal pieces


Instructions

Preheat grill to medium heat (about 375°F). Lightly oil the grates.

In a small bowl combine the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt; set aside.

Cut each peach in half and remove the pit. Brush each cut side with a little oil.

Place cut side down on grill on preheated grill. Grill for 3 minutes or until grill marks appear. Rotate 90 degrees and grill for 3 more minutes. Flip peaches and top each with a piece of butter and sprinkle with sugar mixture. Grill for another 3 minutes. Remove from grill and serve as desired.
