Description

Ground Beef Ramen Skillet is a quick, flavorful one-pan meal made with ground beef, ramen noodles, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, garlic, and mixed vegetables, creating a savory, comforting dish perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

2 packs instant ramen noodles (flavor packets discarded)

1 cup frozen peas and carrots

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tbsp hoisin sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp vegetable oil

2 green onions, chopped

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain off excess fat.

Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and frozen peas and carrots. Stir well and cook for 3 minutes to combine flavors and heat the vegetables.

Break the ramen noodles into pieces and add them to the skillet. Pour in 2 cups of water. Cook, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed, about 5 minutes.

Remove from heat. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
