Ingredients
• 12 oz wide egg noodles
• 32 oz (4 cups) low-sodium chicken broth
• 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
• ½ stick (4 tablespoons) unsalted butter
• 2 teaspoons Better Than Bouillon (chicken base)
• Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
• Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
In a large pot over medium-high heat, pour in the chicken broth. Whisk in the Better Than Bouillon and season with black pepper. Stir in the cream of chicken soup and butter, mixing until the butter is melted and the mixture is smooth.
Add the egg noodles, spreading them out so they are fully submerged. Bring the mixture to a boil, then cook for 2 minutes. Cover the pot with a lid, turn off the heat, and leave it on the burner. Allow the noodles to steam undisturbed for 10 minutes.
Remove the lid, stir gently, and let the noodles rest for a few minutes to thicken. Serve warm, garnished with parsley if desired.
