Description

Lemon Garlic Shrimp Pasta is a flavorful seafood dish made with tender shrimp, linguine, garlic, butter, olive oil, white wine, fresh lemon juice, parsley, and red pepper flakes, all tossed in a light silky sauce for a fresh and satisfying meal.


Ingredients

12 ounces linguine or spaghetti
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup dry white wine
Zest and juice of 1 lemon
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 cup reserved pasta water


Instructions

1.Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water and drain.
2. Season shrimp with salt and pepper.
3. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet, then sauté garlic briefly.
4. Add shrimp and cook until pink, then remove from skillet.
5. Pour in white wine and simmer to reduce slightly.
6. Return shrimp to the skillet and add lemon zest, juice, and red pepper flakes.
7. Add pasta and toss, using reserved pasta water to create a silky sauce.
8. Stir in parsley and adjust seasoning before serving.
