Description

One Pot Chicken Alfredo Pasta is a creamy, comforting dish made by cooking tender diced chicken, pasta, garlic, chicken broth, heavy cream, and freshly grated Parmesan cheese all together in one pot. It’s a simple, flavorful meal with minimal cleanup.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups penne pasta (or fettuccine)

2 cups chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and black pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Sear the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add diced chicken and cook until lightly golden, about 4–5 minutes.

Add Garlic: Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Combine Pasta and Liquids: Add uncooked pasta, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Stir well to combine and bring to a gentle boil.

Simmer: Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is al dente and sauce has thickened.

Finish the Sauce: Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
