One Pot Lasagna Recipe: Italian sausage, marinara sauce, lasagna noodles, ricotta, mozzarella, and parmesan come together in one skillet for easy, cheesy comfort.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 lb Italian sausage (or ground beef or turkey)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
1 to 1.5 cups water or broth
8 lasagna noodles, broken into 2–3 inch pieces
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 cup ricotta cheese
1.5 cups shredded mozzarella
1/2 cup grated parmesan
Fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions
Brown the meat: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add sausage and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
Build flavor: Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Stir in marinara sauce, water, and Italian seasoning.
Add noodles: Break noodles and stir them into the sauce mixture until fully submerged.
Simmer: Cover and cook for 15–20 minutes, stirring every few minutes, until noodles are tender.
Add cheese: Drop ricotta over the noodles, then top with mozzarella and parmesan. Cover and cook 3–5 more minutes until cheese is melted.
Serve: Garnish with basil or parsley. Let rest 5 minutes before serving for best texture.
