Description

Enjoy a healthy twist on classic pasta with One Pot Spaghetti with Marinara. Made with wholesome spaghetti and rich marinara sauce, this easy, low-calorie recipe is perfect for weight loss while delivering big flavor in just one pot.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

12 oz (340g) spaghetti

24 oz jar of marinara sauce (or homemade)

3 cups low-sodium vegetable or chicken broth

1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Sauté Garlic: In a large skillet or pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 30–60 seconds until fragrant.

Add Sauce and Liquid: Pour in marinara sauce and broth. Stir well to combine.

Add Pasta: Break spaghetti in half and submerge in the sauce. Use a spoon to press the noodles under the liquid.

Simmer: Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low. Cover loosely and simmer for 10–12 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent sticking.

Finish Cooking: Uncover and continue cooking for 5–7 minutes until the pasta is tender and the sauce is thickened to your liking.

Serve: Stir in Parmesan cheese (if using). Garnish with fresh herbs and serve immediately.
