Ingredients
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
Valentine’s sprinkles or heart-shaped candies
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, cream together peanut butter, butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
Scoop dough and roll into balls, placing them on a baking sheet.
Gently flatten each cookie with a fork.
Decorate with Valentine’s sprinkles or candies.
Bake for 10–12 minutes until lightly golden.
Cool on a wire rack before serving.
