Description
Sheet Pan Burger Sliders are a quick and easy crowd-pleaser featuring juicy ground beef mixed with onions and seasonings, baked on a sheet pan, then topped with melted cheddar or American cheese and served on soft, buttery Hawaiian slider buns with optional sesame seeds.
Ingredients
2 pounds ground beef (80/20 for best flavor)
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
12 Hawaiian rolls or slider buns
8–12 slices cheddar or American cheese
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
Pickles, ketchup, and mustard for serving
Instructions
Prepare the Oven and Pan: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a half-sheet pan (18×13 inches) with parchment paper.
Season the Meat: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently to avoid overworking the meat.
Press and Bake: Evenly press the meat mixture into the prepared sheet pan. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
Drain and Top with Cheese: Carefully drain excess grease. Lay cheese slices evenly over the meat and return to the oven for 2–3 minutes until melted.
Add the Buns: Place top halves of slider buns over the cheese. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired. Bake for another 5 minutes to lightly toast the buns.
Slice and Serve: Cut into individual sliders along bun lines. Serve warm with pickles, ketchup, mustard, or your favorite toppings.
