Description

Slow Cooker Tortellini Meatball Casserole Recipe is a comforting, easy dinner made with frozen meatballs, cheese tortellini, rich marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, and melted mozzarella cheese, all slow cooked together for a hearty and flavorful family meal.


Ingredients

1 bag frozen meatballs

1 bag tortellini (fresh or frozen)

2 cups marinara sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Italian seasoning, to taste


Instructions

Place the frozen meatballs in the bottom of the slow cooker. Add the tortellini on top of the meatballs. Pour the marinara sauce evenly over the meatballs and tortellini. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Cook on low for 4 hours. In the last 30 minutes of cooking, sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top. Cover and allow the cheese to melt. Serve warm.

Notes Any type of pasta can be substituted if you do not have tortellini. For extra vegetables, add a handful of spinach or some chopped bell peppers along with the other ingredients. While this recipe uses frozen meatballs for convenience, you can use homemade meatballs if you prefer.

Serving Suggestions Serve with garlic bread for dipping. A simple side salad complements the casserole perfectly.
