Drippings from roasted turkey (optional)
Instructions
In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
Whisk in the flour to create a roux and cook for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
Gradually whisk in the turkey or chicken stock, ensuring there are no lumps.
Add salt, pepper, poultry seasoning, and onion powder.
Continue whisking and simmering until the gravy thickens, about 5–7 minutes.
For extra flavor, stir in the turkey drippings.
Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
Serve warm over turkey, mashed potatoes, or stuffing.
