Description

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread is a soft, moist quick bread made with ripe bananas, all-purpose flour, butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and semi-sweet chocolate chips. This homemade loaf is rich, tender, and perfect for breakfast, snacking, or dessert.


Ingredients

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled

1/4 cup vegetable oil

3/4 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas (about 3–4 bananas)

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips


Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan. Line with parchment paper.

In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.

In a large bowl, whisk melted butter, oil, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Mix in mashed bananas.

Add dry ingredients and chocolate chips to wet ingredients. Mix just until combined.

Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.

Bake for 50–60 minutes, until a skewer inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Cool in pan until slightly warm, then slice and serve.
