Description

Garlic Butter Bowtie Pasta with Ground Beef is a rich, comforting dish made with tender farfalle pasta, juicy ground beef, garlic, butter, onion, and Parmesan cheese, all tossed in a savory, flavorful sauce perfect for easy dinners.

Ingredients

• 12 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta

• 1 lb ground beef

• 2 tbsp olive oil

• 1 small onion, finely diced

• 3 garlic cloves, minced

• 1/2 cup beef broth

• 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for a kick)

• 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for topping)

• 2 tbsp butter

• Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

• 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain well and set aside.

Cook the Aromatics. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook for 2–3 minutes until softened. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Brown the Beef. Add the ground beef to the skillet. Break it apart with a spatula and cook for 5–6 minutes, until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Add Butter and Seasoning. Reduce the heat to low and add the butter to the skillet. Stir until melted. Add the beef broth, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 3–4 minutes, letting the liquid reduce slightly.

Combine with Pasta. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until everything is well coated and the pasta absorbs some of the garlic butter sauce.

Finish & Serve. Plate the pasta, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley. Top with extra black pepper if desired and serve hot.
